Business case analysis for merger of two airlines

AA was approached by an airline about to acquire a second airline, then operating in a different jurisdiction.  The work AA did was a mix of business planning, airline operation design and regulatory advice. AA’s business consulting included: data room analysis of target airline’s capex and opex structure and policies; interviews with all key operating personnel in acquiring and target airline company; financial modelling to project simulations of future merged operating business; recommendations for optimal merger and consolidation; presentation to board of airline.
