Destination Summer Holiday<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

he aviation industry, the airlines, airports and travel retailers \u2013 a few groups are missing from that alliance, so it cannot be said to be the tourism industry or even the travel and tourism industry \u2013 on Thursday put out a press release launching their \u2018Destination Summer<\/a>\u2019 campaign to encourage us to get out and see the world, or at least a bit of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For some of us, of a certain age, we could only bring back memories of a better time<\/a>, when one could buy an old double-decker London bus and set off to see Europe!  To go where the sun shines brightly; to go where the sea is blue.  With Cliff Richard at the wheel, and leading the singing, join in with us as we all go on a Destination Summer holiday!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re all going on a Destination Summer holiday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No more virus for a week or two<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun and laughter on a Destination Summer holiday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No pandemic for me or you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a week or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re goin\u2019 where the sun shines brightly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re goin\u2019 where the map says green<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We might even go if it is amber<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as we do a quarantine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even wee viruses need a Destination Summer holiday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infectin\u2019 folk they always wanted to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So they\u2019re all going on a Destination Summer holiday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make their dreams come true<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me and you<\/p>\n\n\n\n
