The last five months (June to October)\u00a0have achieved the highest monthly totals recorded and traffic has now grown back and passed the previous high year of 2011.<!--more-->\r\n\r\nHowever,\u00a0delays are growing at a much faster rate than traffic. In October 2015, 20% of flights were delayed for longer than 15 minutes, compared to 18.7% in October 2014. That is an average of\u00a0 about 5,650 flights per day in 2015 versus\u00a0 5,220 in October 2014: an increase of 8% in delayed\u00a0 flights with an increase of 1.5% in traffic.\r\n\r\nThe top 10 airlines continue to account for about 36% of total daily movements. But only five had growth &#8211; Alitalia (13.3%), Turkish (11.3%), Ryanair (9.3%), Easyjet (5.8%) and BA (2.5%).
