Destination Summer Holiday
he aviation industry, the airlines, airports and travel retailers – a few groups are missing from that alliance, so it cannot be said to be the tourism industry or even the travel and tourism industry – on Thursday put out a press release launching their ‘Destination Summer’ campaign to encourage us to get out and see the world, or at least a bit of it.
For some of us, of a certain age, we could only bring back memories of a better time, when one could buy an old double-decker London bus and set off to see Europe! To go where the sun shines brightly; to go where the sea is blue. With Cliff Richard at the wheel, and leading the singing, join in with us as we all go on a Destination Summer holiday!!
